Healthy Foods and Wisdom From the East
From what I’ve heard from parents from India, most eat a very healthy with little to no processed foods. In addition, many of the Ayurvedic foods in IQedTM such as Turmeric, Amalaki, Haritaki, Gymnema, Green Tea, Guggul, Cocoa, Cinnamon, and Cayenne Pepper are everyday foods found in “any good Indian kitchen” and consumed daily as they have been for thousands of years.
Some of these ayurvedic botanicals such as the fruit Amalaki, also known as Indian Gooseberry, is difficult to find in the west for those that love it. In the east, there are numerous reasons the healthy leaves, fruits, and roots of various plants and trees have been used for thousands of years as part of the daily diet. These botanical foods have not only used as part of a healthy diet but have been used as Mother Nature’s medicine, which is called Ayurveda. Ayurveda is five thousand years old, and the world's oldest medicine. Click Here For A Crash Course In Ayurveda
From Mom Pallavi from India
"Whey isolate protein, as I know, is not a part of regular Indian diet as we prefer freshly cooked, home manufactured food over store bought, frozen food. It’s a way of life as owning a refrigerator was still a luxury to lots of household in India till fairly recently. Even now only in Metros, we find people buying frozen food or cookies and cereals. (Indian breakfast/ consists of whole wheat, rice or the various versions of millet ) But funnily enough In India when babies are almost a month they start making them lick these very Ayurveda foods found in IQedTM in the form of paste which is supposed to help them in speech, awakening their taste buds ,helping the symmetry of right and left brains etc. all most every child goes through this, even my daughter had it for 6 months”
Healthy Food and Science From The West
Today in the west these same Ayurvedic foods have been clinically validated for various health benefits.
Most of us from the west know what whey isolate protein is. The whey isolate protein in IQedTM is 100% casein free and all natural. Just as you may have only looked at Guggul as a misspelling of a search engine, whey isolate protein is not commonly known or used by many in India.
One mom told me that while milk is used in India, whey isolate protein is not. She said, "As you rightly said, most of the things in IQedTM are used in any good Indian kitchen on almost a daily basis, except whey isolate protein. What exactly is the combo which is in IQedTM is an enigma."
What’s important to note to even if someone is using milk that 80% of milk is casein, only 20% of milk is whey.
