FROM PERSONAL NEED TO PATENTED INNOVATION
OUR STORY
It Started With a Mother Looking for Answers
A PERSONAL MISSION BECAME SOMETHING MUCH BIGGER
A personal search for answers became a patented, research backed approach to complete food for body & brain.
What began with Lisa Geng’s firsthand search for answers grew through collaboration with experts in neurology, nutrition and research. That combination of lived experience, scientific inquiry and patented innovation helped shape IQed into the complete food it is today, with a focus on supporting both body and brain.
FOUNDER. INVENTOR. ADVOCATE.
LISA GENG, FOUNDER
Lisa Geng is the founder and creator of IQed Smart Nutrition, a patented complete meal + vitamin replacement born from one mother’s search for better answers for her own children. After her two sons were diagnosed as late talkers with developmental challenges, Lisa redirected a career in design, invention, and entrepreneurship toward nutrition, research, advocacy, and improving outcomes for children and families.
Her journey led to the creation of the Cherab Foundation and ultimately to IQed. What began as a deeply personal mission grew into an innovative complete food protected by multiple U.S. patents and backed by peer reviewed published research.
Lisa coauthored the peer reviewed study Results of a Consumer Survey on the Effectiveness of a Nutritional Blend Reported on Autism Spectrum Disorder Symptoms, Apraxia, and Other Conditions Involving Motor and Speech Delays. In the study, 92% of respondents reported positive changes, with findings spanning focus, memory and cognition, as well as communication, mood, motor planning, energy, social functioning, and other physical and behavioral areas.
WHERE IQED BEGAN
THE FAMILY BEHIND THE MISSION
Lisa is also coauthor of The Late Talker, written with neurodevelopmental pediatrician Dr. Marilyn Agin and international journalist Malcolm Nicholl. Her sons, whose early challenges inspired this journey, went on to be mainstreamed in school and are thriving today.
What started with two children and a mother determined to find better answers grew into something much larger. Today, Lisa’s work brings together nutrition, research, patented innovation, advocacy, and extraordinary purity standards with one central purpose: creating better food that can make a meaningful difference for children, adults, and families.
HEALTHY AGING, LIVED
65 & THRIVING
What began as a search for better health for Lisa’s children eventually became part of her own approach to lifelong wellness. At 65, Lisa practices advanced yoga and follows a lifestyle centered on clean food, movement, intermittent and extended fasting, and conscious choices about what she puts into her body.
IQed has also grown far beyond the purpose that first inspired it. Its complete nutrition, exceptional purity, and convenience make it relevant for busy lives, nutritional gaps, intermittent fasting, and healthy aging. Lisa’s own journey reflects the broader vision behind IQed today: exceptionally clean, science backed food created to support both body and brain throughout life.
SCIENCE, STRATEGY & PERSONAL CONNECTION
DAVID PUSHETT, Ph.D.
David Pushett, Ph.D., brings a powerful combination of scientific training, biotechnology experience, and business development expertise to IQed. With a Ph.D. in genetics from Monash University in Australia, David has spent nearly two decades in the biotech industry, including more than 15 years working in business development across neurology, preclinical research, and drug development.
His experience has included leadership and project roles with organizations involved in Alzheimer’s disease research, neurology, efficacy evaluation, safety pharmacology, and the development of new technologies and commercial partnerships. Today, he serves as Director of Global Business Development for Porsolt, a preclinical research organization supporting drug development from early screening through regulatory submission.
David’s connection to IQed is also deeply personal. He and his wife, Sara, became involved with the Cherab Foundation after navigating their own journey with a son who was a late talker. That shared search for better answers ultimately connected David’s scientific and professional background with the mission behind IQed: bringing together innovation, research, and better nutrition to help people thrive.
