Ayurveda, the science of life, is a lifestyle. Ayurveda and yoga are two interrelated branches of the same great tree of the ancient wisdom that originated in India thousands of years ago. To nourish your body with ayurveda in regards to food treat yourself to IQed which contains Turmeric, Amalaki, Haritaki, Gymnema, Green Tea, Guggul, Cocoa, Cinnamon, and Cayenne Pepper.
There are numerous yoga styles, each expressing their own blend of breathing, poses, meditation, relaxation, and philosophy. Restorative yoga, a practice that leads the yogi toward a more healing and recuperative experience and frequently relies on the use of props and the prolonged holding of a few simple poses to achieve a deep level of relaxation is the one that is more like adult nap time. Don't let that fool you into believing that restorative yoga isn't important as relaxation can be looked at as a form of preventative medicine.
Studies have shown that relaxation therapies promote a decrease in inflammatory signaling in stressful situations. While regular exercise has powerful and undeniable health benefits.restorative yoga is intended to take the mindfulness that is found in all disciplines of yoga to the next level. It’s still and slow, and it’s more about the mind as it is the body.
Reasons for restorative yoga
While restorative yoga will make you more flexible, it's not a stretching class and there is no end goal involved, like being able to touch your toes after 10 sessions. You are exploring what happens when you release the tension your body habitually holds.

9, Strengthens Acceptance and Detachment
Through restorative yoga the greatest benefits are not through forcing yourself into a pose, but by releasing and surrendering to it. This helps with acceptance of your body and strengthens your ability to let go of preconceived notions of your body and how you think it should look or feel, both in and out of a pose.
10, Helps You Feel Safe and Nurtured (adult nap time)
