Lisa Geng got her start as a designer, patented inventor and creator in the fashion, toy, and film industries. After the early diagnosis of her young children, she entered the world of nonprofit and advocacy. As the mother of two boys, both “late talkers,” she is the founder and president of the nonprofit CHERAB Foundation. Lisa is also extremely instrumental in the development of the patented nutritional composition IQed and currently holds three patents and patents pending on the IQed patented nutritional composition and and is a co-author of the peer-reviewed paper Results of a Consumer Survey on the Effectiveness of a Nutritional Blend Reported on Autism Spectrum Disorder Symptoms, Apraxia, and Other Conditions Involving Motor and Speech Delays. Lisa has a passion for exercise, healthy living, and whole food nutrition.
Lisa commenced her crusade in philanthropy as the result of the personal challenges she faced with her two young boys, now ages 22 and 24. In spite of the severity of both diagnoses her sons were mainstreamed in school and are doing wonderful today. Lisa co-authored The Late Talker, St Martin’s Press 2003, with Dr. Marilyn Agin, a neurodevelopmental pediatrician and Medical Director for NYC Early Intervention, and Malcolm Nicholl, an international journalist. Since publication, it remains the bestselling book of its kind.
Lisa has been serving as a parent advocate on an AAN Immunization Panel since 2015 and is a member of CUE through Cochrane US. Lisa is currently working on a second book, The Late Talker Grows Up and serves as a Late Talkers, Silent Voices executive producer. She lives on the Treasure Coast of Florida.
Aylin Ozdemir MD, FAAP, ABIHM, is the president of Pediatric Associates of Jacksonville, Florida; a multi-discipline Integrative Pediatric Practice, specializing in Epigenetics, Genetics Nutrigenomics, childhood behavioral problems, academic difficulties, ADHD, allergies, and asthma. She is also founder and medical director of the Integrative Medical Groups USA LLC. Her passion and goal is to treat the whole child, whole family and the community at large. She is personally passionate about IQed due to her focus on whole food nutrition and healthy lifestyle which is why she both endorses and is now a consultant for IQed.
Dr. O, as her patients refer to her, received her medical degree from University of Istanbul School of Medicine followed by an internship at the Queen Mary’s Hospital for Children in the UK, residency training at the Long Island College Hospital and a two-year fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. (coffee break) Dr. O also attended advanced Integrative Family Medicine training at Scripps Hospital and Personalized Medicine and Nutrigenomics training at the Bastyr University.
Dr. O remains particularly active with a number of professional medical organizations, working closely with the Duval County Medical Society and the American Academy of Pediatrics in an ongoing attempt to maintain a patient focus for health care in the USA. She is also very involved with medical charitable organizations, providing necessary medical care and education for people in need. Dr. O, her husband, their two wonderful children, and two feline friends live in Florida.David Pushett, Ph.D., currently serves as Director of Global Business Development for Porsolt, a long established preclinical CRO, which has been providing efficacy evaluation and safety pharmacology services for over 30 years, covering the drug development process from early screening through regulatory submission.
David received a PhD in genetics from Monash University (Australia) and has been involved in the biotech industry for almost 2 decades, including preclinical project management for Mindset Biopharmaceuticals, a Alzheimer’s Disease drug development company, and over 15 years of experience in Business Development, including with MindGenix, a CRO offering preclinical services in neurology, as VP of Business Development at PsychoGenics, a US-based preclinical CRO. David has been instrumental in negotiating and creating deal structures for novel models and technologies.
For years David and his wife Sara have been members of the Cherab Foundation, where there is a focus on healthy nutrition, due to their son Tal who also was a "late talker." David's career has been devoted to finding answers and he hopes to continue to do so through IQed.
